I disagree with your editorial requiring that we either go all out at war with ISIS or abandon any effort against them ["Editorial: Win or Go Home,"December 2014, p. 4]. Instead, I believe the current implied strategy is the best route to the goal "degrade and ultimately destroy" ISIS. Note that I believe this is a goal-and not the strategy to reach the goal. Our strategy appears to be in two parts. First is to degrade ISIS by reducing resources it needs to wage war. Financial resources are being attacked through destruction of refineries and financial sanctions. Facilities and equipment are being destroyed. This part of the strategy is apparently being implemented as forcefully as possible.
