Editor's Note: The following remarks were made regarding the "Denying the Science of Climate Change is Irresponsible" commentary by Herb Woerpel, published May 18 in The NEWS. Herb, I just wanted to reach out and thank you for your recent article on climate change denial. I am actually surprised that 51 percent of readers responded saying they had concerns about climate change. I've been in the HVAC field for 15 years and literally don't know one person who believes climate change is real or relevant (except for me). These same deniers also regularly vent refrigerants instead of recovering. Anything to increase profits right...?
