Health Effects of Socioeconomic Status: Methods and Findings

摘要

Abstract: We present a framework for analysing causal effects of socioeconomic status on health human capital. We analyse the role played by instrumental variables in the identification of causal effects. We show, by empirical examples that, the types of data available in many African countries can be used to estimate causal effects of socioeconomic status on health.
