Kropz forges ahead in South Africa but plays it safe in Congo

Compagnie des Mines du Congo (Cominco), a companyowned by British group Kropz, was given the go-ahead bythe Congolese cabinet on 20 September to operate itsplanned Hinda phosphates mine, 30 km from PointeNoire. According to a convention signed with theCongolese state in 2018, the mine has an annualproduction capacity of 2-4 million tonnes.
