Lourenço entrusts agricultural megaproject to Frelimo-backing Gulamo family

On 1 July, Endiama, the Angolan state diamond company,presented a massive agricultural development project inthe northeastern provinces of Lundas and Moxico,requiring $4b in funding over the next five years. Theproject covers harvesting palm oil, fruit, and wood as wellas building schools, hospitals, roads, and electrification.Ediama will run the project through Fundação Brilhante,its CSR division which handles diversification innortheastern Angola, as well as with a privatepartner, RGS Group Holdings.
