ADM Energy to explore options on Barracuda field with chemicals and cosmetics specialist Eunisell

Lagos-based oil junior ADM Energy, which is looking to start development of the Barracuda field (OML 141), is currently negotiating a technical partnership with Nigerian chemicals company Eunisell. The two companies announced on 13 April that they had signed a nonbinding cooperation agreement under which Eunisell could supply early production facilities and well-testing equipment. Four wells have already been drilled on the field and ADM aims to be be producing 4,000 barrels per day there by mid-2021. Eunisell, which specialises in the production of chemical products and additives for lubricants in Nigeria, Ghana and South Africa, was founded in 1996 by Nigerian businessman Chika Ikenga. Wholly owned by Ikenga, Eunisell is the main distributor of the products of American chemicals giant Lubrizol in Nigeria.
