摘要

The event took place online, as required by the Covid-19 restrictions, but those taking part in it were an unlikely group. The BPC Client Conference, which was organised by financial services IT company BPC Banking Technologies (BPC) from 9 to 13 November, brought together executives from TymeBank, the digital bank owned by South African billionaire Patrice Motsepe, public sector Zambian bank Zanaco, and Russian national Andrey Zharskiy, a departmental head at banking giant Sberbank, which is half-owned by the Russian state. All these people had no obvious reason to cross paths except for the fact that all are users of BPC technology.
