ICSID issues verdict on Fabbri family's PanOcean dispute with Abuja

It appears that the years of fighting Nigeria's federal government and the Nigerian National Petroleum Corp (NNPC) over the loss of its rights in Nigerian company PanOcean have led the Italian Fabbri family nowhere. As Africa Intelligence understands, the World Bank's international arbitral arm ICSID has ruled in favour of Abuja in its dispute against the Fabbris, who were demanding $1.5bn from the Nigeria state in compensation for the loss.
