Despite assurancesfrom President Yoweri Musevenithat the sale of its 22% stake in allUgandan fields to Total and Cnooc willtake effect in the very near future, so farnothing has eventuated. Tullow Oil chiefexecutive Paul McDade has made it publicknowledge that he is still consideringall options, including pulling out of Ugandaaltogether, even though it has beenbehind all of the discoveries in the countryalongside Heritage Oil since 2006.
