Aeronautics Issues Take Center Stage

This past fall, the AIAA, along with 10 engineering and industry groups, helped establish an aeronautics coalition group whose goal is to increase public awareness of the various problems facing the U.S. aeronautics industry. In particular, "The Crisis in Aviation Coalition" developed a white paper prepared for Congress and a public warning that a decline in federal funding for aeronautics research threatens the dominance of the U.S. aeronautics and aviation industry.
