What is your first aviation memory? Aged about two, hearing the Brabazon fly overhead our Bristol home and filling my nappy at the shock. I should really have learned from that, but clearly didn't. I subsequently remember seeing the Brabazon parked on the Filton apron, through the chain-link fence, from a seat behind the saddle of my dad's bike. When was your first flight? As a 15-year-old air cadet in a Provost from Little Rissington on summer camp, April 14,1964. Thank you Sqn Ldr Watson. Somebody at school later suggested I could do this wonderful thing for a living, and I never looked back.
