More than 67 years after its first flight, and more than 49 sinceWestland Aircraft Ltd presented it to the Royal Navy, Fairey Swordfish LS326 started a new phase in its long life on September 30 this year, when it returned to the air at last. It has been a long journey, full of hope and disappointment, but now the veteran flagship of the Royal Navy Historic Flight (RNHF) is set to resume its career as a distinctive and much-loved airshow performer.
