In hillsboro, oregon, USA, the Classic Aircraft and Aviation Museum's Douglas DC-3C, N115SA, is currently being prepared for restoration following recent research that has revealed its wartime history. Following the donation of the aircraft to the museum four years ago it had been thought that it was simply a tired, old "freight dog" DC-3, but Seattle-based aviation historian and author Ed Davis has now delved into its history.
