Vulcan to fast-taxi again

On December 19,2011, the 25th anniversary of the arrival of Avro Vulcan B.2 XL426 at Southend Airport was celebrated by the V-bomber's current custodians, the Vulcan Restoration Trust (VRT). The machine will be celebrating its 50th birthday during 2012, and the Trust is now nearing completion of a "Return to Power" overhaul, which should see XL426 able to undertake high-speed taxying runs during the summer.
