Glass hybrids make smoother and more flexible fabrics

Johns Manville of Bobingen, Germany, is set to introduce three products at Techtextil (Frankfurt, Germany, 24-26 May 201 I; Hall 3.1 E79): 1. a nonwoven made from glass fibres and biosoluble microfibres, which the company says offers a smooth and dense surface, even structure and excellent feel; 2. a hybrid nonwoven manufactured with glass and synthetic fibres, which is more flexible than a standard glass nonwoven;
