Continuous process makes large quantities of high-quality, single-wall carbon nanotubes

Two fundamental challenges to the widespread use of single-wall carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) have been solved in a breakthrough technology, according to the company behind the development. OCSiAl, which has its headquarters in Luxembourg and manufacturing facilities in Novosibirsk, Russia, says it can produce large quantities of high-quality SWCNTs. Existing production methods are limited to small-scale production (keeping the price of the products high) and subject to variations in quality.
