摘要

Organic photovoltaics (OPV) has been a remarkably growing field of research during the last decade. Power conversion efficiency (PCE) values up to 10% have been already achieved, reaching the level of feasibility for the commercialisation of organic solar cells. The efficient transport of the charge carriers to the respective electrodes is an important prerequisite for a well performing organic solar cell, which is opposed by recombination as crucial loss mechanism limiting the cell performance. There are several experimental techniques probing the charge carrier dynamics in organic bulk heterojunction (BHJ) solar cells, for example the transient photovoltage/photocur-rent experiment, transient absorption spectroscopy and the method of time delayed collection field (TDCF).
