Magnetization of γ'-Fe_4N

摘要

In spite of its simple composition and crystal structure, the ferromagnetic material γ'-Fe_4N displays a remarkably rich behavior that has fascinated applied as well as basic researchers since the 1930s. It exhibits a large saturation magnetization and is a promising candidate for application as a high-density recording material. This Feature Article reviews the history of the experimental and theoretical research on Fe_4N.
