RINEY APPOINTED TO POLC TO REPRESENT ACSM

The American Congress on Surveying and Mapping (ACSM) has appointed James R. Riney, PE, PS as its representative to the Participating Organizations Liaison Council (POLC) of the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES). Mr. Riney's qualifications include past legislative efforts improving Kentucky's surveying and engineering laws, including previous service on the Kentucky Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors. He has served in various levels of the national examinations preparation services, and assisted in writing standards for surveying and mapping. He is also a long-time member and leader in the Kentucky Association of Professional Surveyors (KAPS) where he served as President in 1991, and is an active member, and Feiiow, in the National Society of Professional Surveyors (NSPS), a Member Organization of ACSM.
