Spray can save energy

Titan Engineering's Witt BVKF spray chiller is of particular interest to cold stores using indirect cooling, as well as large users of chilled process fluid systems such as the dairy, brewing, chemical and poultry industries. Titan claims many advantages for this chiller but top of the list is the low running costs - a distinct "green" benefit, as is the small refrigerant charge (about 200g/kW). A major feature is the possibility of small temperature differences of as little as 0.6K between process fluid leaving temperature and evaporating temperature.
