One conference, many hats: whether you're a (meta)data enthusiast, a newbie, an institutional repository evangelist, or just someone who likes snack, the reviews of the Electronic Resources & Libraries (ER&L) 2008 will cater to you. Read on to hear what some attendees took away from this conference.rnThe third Electronic Resources & Libraries (ER&L) conference gathered at Georgia Institute of Technology's Global Learning and Conference Center in Atlanta, Georgia, March 18-21, 2008. Over 360 attendees, from six countries and from 80% of the United States, represented their libraries and organizations resulting in a diverse and informative conference. Georgia Tech's Library hosted a welcome reception where, quite aptly, participants enjoyed both getting to know each other and sampling good food in the library's Information Commons. This informal, collaborative atmosphere set the scene for a productive conference. In addition, e-resource vendors hosted a reception for conference participants where e-resources and e-resource management tools and services were showcased. This gave attendees a good opportunity to further investigate solutions to e-resource management challenges that were highlighted during the course of the conference.
