PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately display a detected obstacle in a display range of an overview video.SOLUTION: An overview video generation device includes a video data acquisition unit 42 that acquires a video from a plurality of cameras which capture images of the front, back, left, and right of a vehicle, an obstacle information acquisition unit 43 that acquires information from a sensor group 20 that detects obstacles around the vehicle, an overview video generation unit 45 that generates an overview image as seen from above the vehicle by executing viewpoint conversion processing for the video acquired by the video data acquisition unit 42, reduces a display area of a video in at least one of directions different from the direction in which the obstacle has been detected in an overview video, and generates a video in which a display range is expanded in the direction in which the obstacle has been detected when the obstacle information acquisition unit 43 had detected the obstacle, and a display control unit 48 that causes the video generated by the overview video generation unit 45 to be displayed on a display panel 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
