Advice for the early-career electronic resources librarian

"Managing e-resources within the business and technology constraints have become the mainstay of information provision" (USKG, 2018). Moreover, educators and online learners alike want remote access to electronic resources to support teaching and learning at a distance. In this regard, libraries continue to play a critical role in providing e-book and other e-resource content for users. The E-Resources Librarian in the 21st Century library is tasked with finding new ways to engage users of e-resources and to keep abreast as a professional by acquiring the skills to do so.
