Chebyshev Nets from Commuting PolyVector Fields

We propose a method for computing global Chebyshev nets on triangularmeshes. We formulate the corresponding global parameterization problemin terms of commuting PolyVector fields, and design an efficient optimizationmethod to solve it. We compute, for the first time, Chebyshev nets withautomatically-placed singularities, and demonstrate the realizability of ourapproach using real material.
