Share schemes strangled by eligibility criteria

The web of rules and restrictions surrounding employee shares schemes is stopping companies from using them, say accountants. Almost two thirds of UK businesses are being prevented from setting up the employee share schemes they wish to introduce because of the restricted eligibility criteria surrounding them.
