Loose morals?

Sir - As a recipient of Accountancy, by way of membership of the ICAEW, I would like to comment on the Trisha Greenhalgh article (October issue, p58). In an age of so-called corporate social responsibility it seems as though personal social responsibility is waning. Society seeks to blame everyone else for matters as diverse as obesity, out-of-control children, binge drinking and every other form of intemperance. When self-control is no longer feasible then medical intervention via prescription drugs, injections and operations seem to be the answer.
