The number of ACA students training in accountancy firms continues to rise despite increasing competition from commercial businesses and other institutes, our annual survey reveals. And the qualification has strengthened its grip on the firms in Accountancy's Top 60 league table, accounting for 65% of all trainees compared with 63.3% in 2006.
