Ernst & Young has become the first Big Four firm to offshore its UK corporate tax compliance work, but rivals are unlikely to follow suit. In a move that will create 200 new graduate jobs in India over two years, E&Y announced it was moving parts of its UK corporate tax compliance service to its offshore operation in Bangalore.The firm said the initiative would allow its UK staff to concentrate on'strategic, value-added, front-line services' for its clients.
