What goes on behind the polished front doors of accountancy practices in towns and cities up and down the country? Are their partners raking in the fees they should be? Are their profits growing at a healthy rate? Do they make their employees happy? Will their clients keep coming back? These are the questions the AVN accountancy association examined in a benchmarking study of 209 UK accountancy practices; it was carried out by myself and my team, and was sponsored by IRIS and NatWest.
