Over half of chief financial officers in major UK companies are worried that turmoil in the credit markets will badly affect their businesses in 2008. A survey by Deloitte found that companies are suffering as a result of the credit crunch, with three quarters of CFOs claiming that events in the credit markets have raised the price of credit and two thirds saying it has reduced credit availability.
