Over the summer, the ICAEW was asked by the International Federation of Accountants to act as host to representatives of the accounting bodies that represent the G-20 countries.rnOver the course of two days, we debated and then prioritised a range of issues which formed the basis for a communique which has been sent to G-20 finance ministers in advance of the Pittsburgh summit later this month.rnAs part of our role as host body, we invited Stephen Timms MP, the financial secretary to the Treasury and the UK minister leading on the G-20, to address the delegation.
