E&Y STAFF FACE CUTS AMID REGIONAL RESHUFFLE

The last remaining Big Four firm in Exeter is shifting around a quarter of its staff to a regional firm, while others face redundancy or relocation.rnErnst & Young, which currently has 100 staff in the Devon city office, said: 'The difficult decision has been taken to transfer part of our audit and corporate tax business to Ernst & Young in Bristol.'rnThe firm said that around half would remain in Exeter, employed in either its infrastructure advisory or personal tax teams.
