Membership of the new ICAEW Financial Reporting Faculty has now exceeded 1,000.rnThe faculty was launched last December to provide convenient, flexible and high-calibre practical resources to financial reporting professionals through a unique online community.rn'In these uncertain economic times, good quality reporting is more important than ever,rnand the ever-growing complexity of the topic means there is a strong demand for practical support from ICAEW members involved in financial reporting,' commented faculty head Nigel Sleigh-Johnson.rnThe faculty will shortly publish two electronic factsheets on new UK GAAP and International Financial Reporting Standards requirementsrnin 2009. It will also be holding its first technical update event on 15 June, with keynote speaker Tom Jones, vice chair of the International Accounting Standards Board.
