Tenon Posts 3.6% Profit Growth As Income Falls

Tenon, the AIM-listed accountancy firm, has revealed an increase in profits for the first six months of its financial year. But revenue has fallen by nearly ￡1 m compared with the same period in 2007. Announcing profits of ￡8.7m for the six months to 31 December 2008, up from ￡8.4m, Tenon chief executive Andy Raynor said: These first half results underline the strength of our service portfolio and our ability to grow profits in a challenging economic environment.'
