Two institute members have become the first recipients of two new awards sponsored by the ICAEW at the 2010 FDs' Excellence Awards.rnThey are Susanne Baxter, finance director of Mitie Group, and Jeremy Cox, finance director of Coventry Building Society.rnBaxter won the ICAEW Inspiring Confidence in Business Award. This goes to a finance director who has demonstrated a clear demand of the sustainability agenda and communicated it well. She led Mitie's corporate responsibility and sustainability agenda as well as developing CarbonCare, a service that offers a broad-based approach to sustainability for clients.
