Regular readers of this page will recall that last November I took issue with Ernst & Young over its transparency report for failing to divulge the pay of its senior figures and its partner profitability.rnWell, last month the profession's watchdog, the Professional Oversight Board, published its review of the transparency reports of 25 firms for the first year in which publication of these reports has been mandatory. Surprise, surprise, the POB has called on firms to improve the quality of their disclosures in financial information as well as international networks and independence issues - probably the three riskiest and most controversial issues facing firms at the present time.
