CHANGING DETAILS

HMRC has changed its bank account details for 2013/14, but printed the wrong account name in some of the information sent out. The notification of this error in its RTI bulletin is followed by a note on data quality. (What was that about employers being penalised if they do not take 'reasonable care'?) Only those employers who used to make their payments to the Shipley account are affected, as that account is no longer in use and all payments should now go to Cumbernauld. The sort code is the same but other details differ.
