In response to a Freedom of Information Act request, the Department for Business, Innovation & Skills (BIS) has released details of cases in which convictions have been obtained for breaches of trading disclosure requirements.All companies are required to make certain trading disclosures both on their stationery and at their premises. One key reason for this requirement is to ensure that anyone dealing with a company is aware of its limited liability status.
