INTERVIEW: NICK LAND, CHAIR, VODAFONE AUDIT COMMITTEE

Last year, Vodafone caused a stir by being the first FTSE 100 company to adopt and produce the newstyle external auditor's report, which gave far more information and insight than investors had previously been accustomed to. This was hardly surprising, given that the mobile telecoms giant's audit committee chairman is Nick Land, chairman of the FRC's Audit and Assurance Council. And then this year, the company brought to an end its 26-year relationship with auditor Deloitte, switching to its Big Four rival PwC.
