This spring sees a number of changes to employee and employer rights and obligations, although the extension to flexible working rights has hit a snag. Delays in passing the Children and Families Bill have led to the extension of the right to request flexible working to all employees being postponed. The Department for Business, Innovation and Skills confirmed that it would no longer be possible to implement the extension on 6 April.
