BIS GUIDANCE ON 2013 REGULATIONS

Better late than never, BIS has published guidance on the changes made to the statutory buyback regime at the end of April 2013. The Companies Act 2006 (Amendment of Part 18) Regulations 2013 were designed to simplify that regime and to remove barriers and disincentives to employee ownership, ensuring that shares held by employees could easily be bought back when those employees leave a company.
