WILKINS KENNEDY MERGES WITH FBR

Accounting firm Wilkins Kennedy's Winchester office is to merge with local firm FBR Accounting in a bid to grow its presence in the Solent region. The merged entity will operate as Wilkins Kennedy and two directors and 11 staff will join from FBR. Ian Talbot, managing partner of Wilkins Kennedy's Winchester and Romsey offices, said: 'The merger will allow us to expand further on current offerings, particularly in the cloud accounting sector.' Established in 1882, Wilkins Kennedy is ranked 19th in the Accountancy Top 75 firms and has a turnover of £38m.
