Reflections on the UK JSPS Alumni Association

When asked to write this I found myself reflecting on the UK JSPS Alumni Association over the past five years. I well remember our first meeting at University College London in November 2003. That first meeting was lively and productive, and the committee was enthusiastic and clear that we wanted to try and support and strengthen the networks that exist between UK and Japanese academics.
