Liquid decontamination materials generally target a limited set of chemicals and can damage sensitive electronics. Seshadri Ramkumar, associate professor, Institute of Environmental and Human Health at Texas Tech University says dry, flexible fabric wipes are an ideal solution because they can be used to clean intricate and delicate parts of "everything from the human body to the control panel of a fighter jet."
