The present invention relates to a reactive sorbent based on activated clay used for rapid removal of chemical agents and a decontamination method using the same. More specifically, the present invention relates to: the reactive sorbent containing the activated clay and an inorganic mixture, wherein the inorganic mixture contains a sorbent, a decomposer, or both; and the decontamination method using the same.
