AATCC Welcomes First International Student Chapter

AATCC student members at the SASMIRA Institute of Man-Made Textiles in Mumbai, India have officially been recognized as the first AATCC student chapter outside the US. The students and faculty advisor are part of the textile chemistry department. SASMIRA is an acronym for the Synthetic & Art Silk Mills' Research Association, a cooperative venture of organizations in the man-made textile industry of India, formed to serve the industry's scientific and technological needs.
