BackgroundThe presence of ≥3 oligoclonal bands (OCB) in the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) without corresponding bands in serum represents a definite pathological pattern, whereas the clinical significance of 1–2 CSF bands (borderline pattern) is poorly investigated.
