IntroductionPheochromocytoma are neuroendocrine tumors that arise from sympathetic chromaffin cells within the adrenal medulla. They principally secrete catecholamines, potentially causing life-threatening cardiovascular complications. A myriad of symptomatology and clinical findings are associated with pheochromocytoma, including a catecholamine-induced dilated cardiomyopathy.
