Prevalence of HPV in Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma in South West India

Shows Gel electrophoresis where NC is negative control where no DNA template was added. To the next 17 lanes we have added DNA which was extracted from histologically proven cases of oral cancer. To the last lane, as shown, we have added HPV-16 DNA which was extracted from histologically proven case of cervical cancer. This acts as positive control (PC). A 100 bp ladder was used. The positive control shows band at 150 bp (base pairs)
