In this issue, O'Connor and colleagues1 report a study on the efficacy of double-blind peer review in the American Journal of Neuroradiology (AJNR). They found that 12.7% of reviewers thought or suspected that they knew the authors' identities. Most of the time when the reviewers thought they knew, they did—some 90% chose correctly.
